Ofschoon we bij Xedia weten dat je rapporten van gerenommeerde onderzoekers soms met een korrel zout moet nemen, zijn we erg blij dat Drupal door Gartner in het visionairs kwadrant is geplaatst. Dries Buytaert die aan de basis stond en staat van Drupal steekt veel energie in het business savvy maken van het open source content management systeem (CMS) Drupal.
Nikos Drakos, Research Director bij Gartner, schreef het volgende over Drupal: "Drupal is in the Visionaries quadrant because of its use of the open source model to drive adoption and popularity, while providing enterprise services via organizations such as Acquia. Its strong content-centric, community and web application foundation is being rapidly extended with hundreds of modules, including many for collaboration and social interaction support."
